From the beautiful Island of Hawai'i comes Hamakua Coast Premium's extraordinary handcrafted Ube Syrup! This 25oz size is perfect for mixologists, craft cocktail lounges, and anyone looking for a generous helping of this delicious syrup.

Their handcrafted Ube Syrup enhances cocktails, mocktails, and other culinary creations, with a vibrant purple color and subtle sweetness. Made with Ube yam, Ube (pronounced ooh-bae) is a yam that was brought to Hawaii by Filipino immigrants. It is commonly mixed up with the Okinawan sweet potato. Ube are grown above ground, where sweet potatoes are grown underground. Although both have that rich purple color and sweet flavor, ube has more of a nutty flavor.

Ube dreams come true!

I discovered Ube lattes when a local coffee shop (in StLouis Missouri) featured an Ube latte in the summer. I quickly realized I couldn’t afford as many Ube lattes as I wanted unless I made them myself. I discovered Tastes of Aloha and now my homemade Ube lattes are better than the local coffee shop, and I’ve come back for more at least five times. I love Ube and tastes of aloha (fast shipping, great customer service). My lattes have never been as beautiful or delicious as they are now!

Amazingly Delicious!!!

A beautiful vibrant royal purple color, adding a unique touch to whatever we add it too. The flavor is above all Ube flavored products. We utilize it making filling for our chocolate factory, along with fresh marshmallows and meringues. Absolutely wonderful product, hopefully back in stock as we will be needing a bunch this summer.

Had UBE in a drink at Waikiki Beach bar, it was an awesome addition to the Pina Colda, experimenting with UBE in other things at home now.

Tricky to work with, but very good

It took a bit of experimentation to find cocktails that work well with this syrup, but it is both unique and tasty. I recommend against gin or citrus, and in favor of rum, spice, coffee, dairy, and nutty flavors.

Delicious but too watery

The flavor is great but the consistency was more of an ink than of a syrup - I wish it was more viscous
